Well hello again internet....
It's been too long since my last post so I thought I should jump on and let you all know what has been happening in the world of ME. In list form is easiest....
Chicken pocked kids and pregers wife, new house, wedding editing, internet issues, turf laying, wedding editing, new furniture, turned 29, got a nephew for my birthday, wedding editing, 24 week ultra sounds, album designing and did I mention wedding editing?
I am lucky that I have no weddings booked for the rest of this year though so I am excited to start 2009 with a clean slate and a few new tricks up my sleave.....
Anyway here is a picture from Tara and Craig's wedding that I thought I would share. This has a little texture thrown in for good measure.
Note to future brides.... let me know if it's something you would like.

Katrina & Matt
Well I've been fortunate enough in my life to call both Katrina and Matt friends of mine. So shooting their wedding on Saturday the 18th of October was a special treat for me.
The wedding was exclusively held at Opal Cove Resort, with a ceremony on the grass by the lake followed later by a reception in one of the function rooms that over look the beach.
The day started with a few happy tears from Katrina as the girls helped her into her stunning dress, and the realisation of what was about to happen started to sink in.
Once the ceremony was through, we strolled down to the beach for a bit of fun by the sea.
I loved the light on the back of the dunes, such a warm feel.
Then it was a short walk up to the entrance to Opal Cove to take advantage of the trees that line the road. Well a short walk for some of us! :)
Congratulations Katrina and Matt, hope you enjoy Cook Town and we'll see you when you return.
Oh yeah, one more......
Whilst we where down by the beach, who should swim past but Banana man!
Hands up who thinks he lands on his feet.....

Tara & Craig
Wow! Where do I start?
From the very first moment I met Tara and Craig, I knew that their wedding was going to be one of the greats. There was just something about these two that hinted that this wedding would be natural and beautiful in its own way, and last Saturday they proved me right.
Tara and the girls done their preparations at Lily Pily, a luxury Bed & Breakfast just outside of Bellingen. Tara looked beautiful with simple hair and makeup and wearing what is now my favourite wedding dress ever. (bar my wife's dress, due to it's contents)
Check out this dress, I can't explain in in words but it looked fantastic.
This was the little balinese day bed / hut which was part of Lily Pily's gardens.
Craig, Dashing in black wearing his mischievous smile
The ceremony was held on Craig's Family's property overlooking the Bellinger river. It was a super hot day but the temperature was nowhere near as hot as what was going on in the ceremony. Tara & Craig wrote their own vows and managed to drag more then a few tears out of each other, and themselves.
We stopped for a bit of fun in the clovers...
We left the farm and headed across the river to a fantastic nut farm for something a little different. Then we raced into Bello itself for a quick shoot at the pub then back to their reception that was held at the wonderful Thora Hall.
Thanks guys, we had a wonderful time shooting your wedding.

Katie & Robert
Last Saturday Jade and Myself had the pleasure of shooting the beautiful wedding of Katie and Robert. The wedding took place at the Glennifer Hall, just outside of Bellingen. Now this was a special place for Katie as her families properties basically surround the hall and her Grandmother and Grandfather where the first people to be married there.
Here are a few shots from the day.

Kataya & Richard
Friday the 12th of September rolled around and although threatened by a passing thunder storm, the day shaped up to be the best of the week. And I am sure even the best day of a life time for Kataya and Richard. Traveling down to the coast for something special for their big day, they tied the knot at Aanuka Chapel then after photo's at the quarry and Aanuka's own beach they celebrated with a reception in the breakers room overlooking the ponds and beach.
Thanks guys for a beautiful day and best wishes for the future.

Amber & Chris
The weather was drizzly and damp, but behind closed doors Amber was glowing. She quietly sat while her hair and make-up team done their thing, occasionally breaking so Amber could sip on some Jim Beam and Coke to calm her nerves. A little extra calm came over the room as the dress went on and the flowers turned up. Vanessa again out done herself creating some wonderful Bouquets.
Then it was time to move down to the main foyer of Opal cove for what was now going to be an indoors ceremony.
After the ceremony we watched as the clouds parted and let through some beautiful rays of the setting sun. The walk to the beach was swapped for a trip to the trees as we headed out to the entrance of the resort. The trees form a tunnel that could only have been planned with wedding photos in mind.
Congratulations Amber and Chris.

Sharen & Norm's PFPF wedding
PFPF?
Pirate, Fairies, Princesses and Fishermen!
I was thrilled when Sharen first told me that her and Norms wedding was going to be a themed event, so after months of waiting and a little fishing, here are some photos of a most memorable wedding. They both traveled to the ceremony via these uber cool bass boats. (Pirates flags and flowered arch included)
Norm nervously waits at the "Point of no return"...
Well everyone else does it?
Our fairy in the trees.
We decided when talking about there plans that we would set up a photobooth for their reception.
As you can see below, it was a hit with the guest, all of whom got up and had a go.
NB. I will be making a SP Photobooth soon so if you are getting married and you like something a little different, give me a shout and I will fill you in with the details on how you can have one at your wedding reception. Or anywhere really?
And the best costume award goes to......
I just had to get my ugly mug in there. Do you like my Moe-brow?
And my personal fav
