Louise & Andrew

Well there are people that are beautiful on the outside, and then there are people who are beautiful on the inside. Louise and Andrew are blessed with a full serve of both kinds of beautiful. I only got to meet with Louise and Andrew the Wednesday before their big day, but I knew right there and then that this was going to be a wedding to remember.
A wedding to remember indeed!
The morning started as usual, the girls preparations looked great as the got ready to help Louise into her stunning gown. We shot around the apartment before I left to meet Guys on the sand at Charlesworth Bay. We snapped a few shots of Andrew and then at 1pm on the dot (scheduled ceremony time) the heavens opened up and completely drenched everyone. The next 30 minutes of rain forced a speedy change of location. Louise and Andrew, unperturbed by the last half hour, exchanged vows inside the main reception of Pacific Bay Resort, in what still managed to be a beautiful and interment ceremony.
When the time came to head back outside we found the fabulous blue skies had returned, so with little hesitation we headed back down to the beach, where the ceremony was originally planned to be held.
Here are a few of my favourite shots...

When Andrew met with Ken Palmer, the celebrant, they pondered if rain would play a part in their ceremony...
...and it did!
A quick change of location.

I love this shot that Jade caught once we where back on the beach enjoying the fine weather?

Louise and Andrew, thank you for letting us play a part in your special day.

If you like what you see, feel free to leave a comment, we love hearing from you.

Jen and Adrian

(in your best Forest Gump accent) Now Adrian and Jen-nay are like pea's n carrots. And my moma always says life is like a box of choc-luts....
Obviously my internet friends, these are insider jokes from yesterday, which sums up the fun we had as we documented Jenny and Adrian's wedding.
Jen got ready at home in Emerald before heading in to the very quaint Bonville Anglican Church for the nuptials. The ceremony was simple and beautiful and managed to insure that neither Jen or Adrian nor most the guests, could keep a dry eye.
After the paper work was done we set off to some great locations including Stevo's old Holden graveyard, Bonville International Golf Club and the iconic Coffs Harbour Jetty.
To Jen and Adrian, thanks for choosing me to shoot you guys on your big day.
To everyone, please enjoy a few of my favourite shots.

The King and Queen chess pieces made for a fitting ring shot.

Jen looked fabulous in her custom made gown.

Lauren & Shane

Lauren & Shane decided to travel up from Sydney to celebrate their love for each other with a wedding in the beautiful beach side community of South West Rocks. Much to my delight they held their ceremony right in the middle of the historic Trail Bay Goal. After which we hung around for a few photos in the goal grounds before moving on to Little Bay and then the Surf Club for the reception.
Here are a few shots from the day....

Shane earned himself around a million points when he had flowers, an engraved bracelet and a heart felt card delivered to Lauren only moments before she was due to leave for the ceremony.

I am always blown away with how much some people will spend on accessories, sunnies in particular. I can say that one mans extravagance is what inspired me to do this shot.

Each of the bridal couples including Lauren and Shane wow'd guest as they entered the reception with spectacular dances, each as unique as the last.

Congrats Lauren and Shane, I really enjoyed spending the day getting to know you guys and shooting your wedding.

Baby Sean

Today a friend of mine, whom I've known since we started school, bought her 9 week old son Sean around for a baby portrait shoot. Sean just loved the camera giving us lots of smiles, laughs and even a little blue steel. Here are a few shots.

Thank you Rach and Lloyd for letting us photograph your lovely family.

Viki & Jeff

Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Viki and Jeff. These guys traveled up from Sydney to be married just North of Coffs Harbour in the sunny little beach side town of Woolgoolga.
Sorry,did I say sunny?
Sadly the weather was not as one would hope for on their wedding day, with rain and wind being the general theme.
But undisturbed, Viki and Jeff soldiered on and we even traveled into Coffs for some shots around the Jetty.
Here are a few shots...

Transport on the day included a WWII Jeep and a brand new Kentworth truck.

Thanks for, weather aside, a great day. I hope the sun is shinning in the whitsundays!
