Rebecca and Scott

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hanging out with the uber cool couple, Rebecca and Scott. We had a blast hanging out in Thora which is in the Bellingen Valley at the base of the mountains.
Rebecca got ready on her parents property, part of which would be the setting for their beautiful Ceremony. Here are a few details from the morning.


Rebecca had her hair done by Cherry from Hair Odyssey and make up was done flawlessly by Anthea of Anthea's nail, skin & beauty therapies. Once she slipped her dress on she looked absolutely beautiful.

Rebecca and Scott opted to have a "first look" for their big day. A first look is where the couple share some interment time together before the ceremony to soak in all the beauty that is their wedding day. Freeing any real nerves and letting them enjoy a shared experience. Here are a few shots of when Rebecca and Scott first saw each other in full wedding attire.

Rebecca and Scott picked one of the most beautiful ceremony backdrops I have ever come across. The ceremony was nice, and due to the first look Rebecca and Scott had some extra time to hangout with their guest before we headed up the mountain to Griffiths lookout for some more panoramic views.


We made it almost all the way to the top of the mountain before it happened. "What happened" you ask...
We drove right into the clouds. Literally we could only see fifty meters max in any direction. Fog completely blanketed the plateau. But I tell you what, heavy fog + hot couple = magic...

The day ended with the reception held at the quaint Thora hall. Rebecca and Scott had us set up a photobooth which was an absolute blast. Here are a few of my favourites.

Velia and Corey

Well, what a welcome back to the wedding season!
Yesterday Jade and I had the absolute pleasure off shooting Velia and Corey's wedding here in Coffs Harbour. We first met these guys after one of our brides sent them our way to do a shoot with their new baby Tysen. We were wrapped when they asked us if we were available to shoot their wedding day.
The day started with beautiful clear skies and a light breeze, the perfect day to get married.
After a ceremony at Coffs Anglican Church, we headed out to Pacific Bay Resort for some photos by the beach and amongst the grounds. They finished the day of with a reception in Charlie's restaurant overlooking the waterfall and lagoons.

We met with Velia at her parents house with it's stag horn and old pailing fence the perfect back drops for some nice detail shots.

Velia looked absolutely beautiful and was such a pleasure to work with.

Baby Taleisha

I have looked forward to this baby shoot for a while now, and today Tiffany and Paul brought their precious little girl around for her turn in the spot light. Regular blog readers will recognize Tiffany and Paul as I shot their wedding in April of this year.
Taleisha is such a beautiful little girl, really, check out those adorable eyes.

Baby Pippa

This weekend we had the pleasure of a baby shoot with four week old Pippa. We shot her big brother Cooper, when he was only one week old, so we were excited to help document another important milestone in Jake and Vanessa's lives.
At four weeks old, Pippa is just beautiful with her big eyes and full head of hair.

If friends of ours Peter and Emily know how to do one thing well, it is how to have girls. Peter and Emily were graced with their third beautiful daughter Poppy in March this year. Last week we had the pleasure of shooting some shots for their family albums.

Tiffany & Paul

It was a wonderful Sunday morning, the sun had a way of warming your soul, the blue sky seemed a little wider than normal and the slight sea breeze ever so gently moved the tips of the trees. This was a special day. Hidden away in a bungalow, Tiffany and her brides maids enjoyed a champagne as they fussed over hair and make up, before slipping into their gowns and preparing for the Ceremony.
Tiffany and Paul were married in the chapel at Aaunka Beach Resort in Coffs Harbour. Their ceremony was conducted by local celebrant, Ken Palmer, who talked of the couples strong family values and their dreams for a long and fulfilling future. After the ceremony and a group shot, we headed down to the beach for a little bit of romance before returning to the reception.
Tiffany, Paul and their insanely gorgeous daughter Talisha are a very beautiful family and I would like to wish them all the happiness for the future. Congrats Guys. Thank you for sharing your beautiful day.
